The Spray Finishing Problem
Manual spray finishing has a few persistent problems that most shops accept as normal:

Inconsistent coating. When an operator manually rotates parts during spraying, rotation speed varies. Some sides get heavier coverage, some get lighter. Drips happen. Thin spots happen. And you don't see the inconsistency until the coat dries.

Operator exposure. Every time an operator reaches into the spray booth to rotate a part, they're in the overspray zone. Masks and ventilation help, but minimizing the time a person spends in the spray environment is always better.
