The Ultimate Edge Sander is specifically designed for MDF and Solid wood parts. It routes a profile using a high speed trimmer and then has three 5" orbital sanders in line giving you proper grit progression. Finally it has two 2 inch orbital sanders on a 45 degree angle to break and sand the corners in a single pass.

Profile, Sand and Corner Break
The Ultimate Edge Sander does the work that traditionally ties up two or three hand sanders on every door run. It routes a profile, applies three grits of orbital edge sanding, and breaks the corners on all four sides without an operator picking up sandpaper, and it does it consistently from the first door of the shift to the last.
MDF and solid wood parts. Including doors, drawers, trim and even solid surface like Corian. Not only can it sand raw wood it can even sand primed edges without sanding through. Ideal as a standalone or complement to a Cosmo system.
